Our story begins in 1982, when Jorge Ramirez founded Carefree Alarms with a simple goal: to protect families by installing reliable home security systems. It was a small, family-run business built on trust, hard work, and doing right by our customers — values that still guide us to this day.
Growth
Building Bigger Dreams
As word spread about Jorge’s attention to detail and honest work, the business naturally evolved. Homeowners started asking us to handle more than just alarms — so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work renovating kitchens, bathrooms, and entire homes. Before long, we were designing and building custom houses from the ground up, bringing people’s visions to life with the same care and pride we started with.
New Horizons
Expanding Our Impact
What began in homes eventually led us to the heart of the city. We took on our first public project with the City of New York building dog parks — and while it might sound like a small step, it opened the door to something much bigger. We proved ourselves, one project at a time, and grew into larger, more complex jobs — from renovating government office buildings to upgrading healthcare facilities and hospitals across the boroughs.
